DOC postpones preliminary results of CVD review on pipe from Turkey

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced yesterday that it postponed the preliminary results of an administrative review of the countervailing duty order on certain welded carbon steel standard pipe imported from Turkey. On April 22, 2005, the DOC initiated an administrative review of the countervailing duty order on certain welded carbon steel standard pipe imported from Turkey. The review covers one Turkish producer/exporter-- the Borusan Group -- during the period January 1, 2004, through December 31, 2004. Since the 245-day period has not been enough for the DOC to complete the review, the DOC decided to extend the 245-day period to issue its preliminary results by up to 120 days. Accordingly, the preliminary result of this review will be published not later than March 31, 2006. The current countervailing duty deposit rate for the Borusan Group is 0.00 percent.
