Dneprospetsstal’s crude steel output declines in April

In April this year, Ukrainian metallurgical company Dneprospetsstal (DSS) saw a 9.1 percent month-on-month decrease in its crude steel production to 22,300 mt. The company's output of finished steel in the same month increased by 2.6 percent month on month to 15,163 mt.
 
In the January-April period this year, the company produced 92,684 mt of crude steel, down 7.1 percent, and 57,050 mt of finished steel, down 9.8 percent, both year on year.
 
Dneprospetsstal's activities cover the design, manufacture and distribution of stainless, tool, high-speed, bearing and alloy structural steel products. DSS' products are used in the manufacture of machinery parts, tools for metal and alloy machining, seamless pipes and bearings.
