Daye Special Steel sees increased net profit in H1

Hubei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Daye Special Steel Co. (Daye Special Steel) has announced that it has registered an operating revenue of RMB 3.287 billion ($0.50 billion) for the first half of the current year, up 7.96 percent year on year, with a net profit of RMB 146 million ($21.99 million), increasing by 4.95 percent year on year.

In the given period, Daye Special Steel produced 572,300 mt of crude steel and 970,800 mt of finished steel, rising by 7.70 percent and 45.92 percent year on year, respectively.
