Liuzhou Steel posts net profit of RMB 368 million for H1 2025

Guangxi Province-based Chinese steelmaker Liuzhou Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. (Liuzhou Steel) has announced that it registered an operating revenue of RMB 34.675 billion ($4.9 billion) in the January-June period this year, down 8.32 percent year on year, while it posted a net profit of RMB 368 million ($51.8 million), up 579.54 percent year on year.

In the given period, Liuzhou Steel produced 1.5106 million mt of medium plate, 2.6798 million mt of small sections, 1.3725 million mt of cold rolled steel strip, 478,700 mt of HDG, up 103.61 percent, 0.09 percent, 21.72 percent and 19.7 percent, respectively, year on year, while produced 640,300 mt of hot rolled strip, down 29.39 percent year on year.
