Brazilian steelmaker Companhia Siderurgica Nacional (CSN) has reported its delayed 2017 Q2 and Q3 results.
The company reported a BRL 640 million net loss in Q2 2017, reverting a net profit of BRL 46.1 million posted in Q2 2016. Net revenues in Q2 2017 rose 4 percent, year-on-year, to BRL 4.3 billion.
As for Q3 2017, CSN reported a net profit of BRL 256 million on increased operational margins at its steelmaking and mining businesses. In Q3 2016, CSN reported a net loss of BRL 66.7 million. Revenues in Q3 2017 improved 8 percent, year-on-year, to BRL 4.8 billion.
