Colakoglu Metalurji, one of the key steel producers in Turkey and an important player in the local steel industry, is going to resume rebar production starting from October 1. The operations at its 800,000 mt per year line were stopped on September 5, resulting in a total production stoppage of 25 days. In addition, the company’s crude steel production will be restored at the same time, following five days of maintenance.
