Chinese daily steel production turns around in September

SteelOrbis Shanghai In September, Chinese pig iron production increased 20.5 percent year on year to 34.9744 million mt, with its daily production at 1.1658 million mt, up 46,200 mt or 4.1 percent compared with the previous month. Crude steel production increased 18.5 percent year on year to 36.1618 million mt, with its daily production at 1.2059 million mt, up 21,500 mt or 1.82 percent month on month. Finished steel production increased 23 percent to 40.0764 million mt, with its daily production at 1.3359 million mt, up 79,000 mt or 6.3 percent month on month.
