China’s crude steel output totals 50.3 million mt in October

According to China's National Bureau of Statistics, in October Chinese domestic crude steel output totaled 50.30 million mt, down 3.8 percent year on year, while average daily crude steel output for the month came to 1.6226 million mt, up 24,400 mt month on month. China's pig iron output in October was 46.82 million mt, down seven percent, while its finished steel output was 65.29 million mt, up 4.1 percent - both on year-on-year basis. Total Chinese crude steel output in the January-October period of the current year came to 525.10 million mt, up 10.7 percent year on year. The details are as follows:
