China’s steel sheet and plate exports up 31.8 percent in January-September

China’s steel sheet/plate exports totaled 43.61 million mt in the January-September period of the current year, up 31.8 percent year on year, according to the Chinese customs authorities.

In September alone, China exported 5.44 million mt of steel sheet/plate, up 95.7 percent year on year, while decreasing by 3.03 percent month on month.
