China’s steel scrap imports up 89.7 percent in January-February

In February this year, China’s steel scrap imports amounted to 270,000 mt, up 60,000 mt month on month and increasing by 121.6 percent year on year, while the steel scrap import volume in the January-February period totaled 480,000 mt, up 89.7 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities.
