China’s stainless steel pipe exports down 17.76% in Oct from Sept

In October this year, China’s total stainless steel pipe exports amounted to 31,615.32 mt, decreasing by 17.76 percent compared to September, according to the figures released by China’s General Administration of Customs. In October, China’s stainless steel pipe exports to India totaled 4,358.51 mt, while the country exported 2,608.85 mt of stainless steel pipes to South Korea and 2,534.47 mt to the US.
 
In the given month, China’s total stainless steel pipe imports came to 3,570.76 mt, down 7.19 percent month on month. China’s main sources of stainless steel pipe imports in October this year were Japan and Sweden, which supplied 1,622.52 mt and 336.41 mt respectively. China also imported stainless steel pipes from South Korea, Taiwan, Germany and the US in the month in question.
