China’s Shankou Steel Pipe to build welded pipe facility in Ghana

The China-Africa Development Fund (CAD Fund) has signed a cooperation agreement with Shandong Province-based Chinese pipe producer Shankou Steel Pipe Group, as reported by China's Xinhua News Agency on November 26.

Accordingly, both sides will cooperate in building a welded pipe processing base in Ghana, West Africa. The annual capacity is expected to be 250,000 mt, including welded pipe, rebar, wire rod and other products, mainly supplying oil and gas transmission projects in Africa.
