China’s Jiangxi Province to step up coal exploration work

According to the coalfield and geology bureau of China's Jiangxi Province, exploration work is to be carried out on three major coalfields in the province over the next three years.

The coalfields in question are the Baiyuanbei coalfield in Pingxiang, the Xintian coalfield in Yichun and the Quangang coalfield in Fengcheng. Following the planned three years of exploration work, newly-discovered coal reserves are expected to total 650 million mt.
