China’s finished steel exports down 13.6 percent in January-July

In July this year, China exported 5.88 million mt of finished steel, down 15.2 percent month on month and decreasing by 15.4 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities on August 8.

In July, China exported 816,000 mt of metallurgical coke, decreasing by 14.8 percent month on month and up 13.3 percent year on year.

In the January-July period of the current year, China exported 41.30 million mt of finished steel, down 13.6 percent, while it exported 5.60 million mt of coke, increasing by 16.4 percent, both year on year.
