China’s coal imports decrease by 11.1 percent in January-September 2025

In the January-September period this year, China’s coal imports amounted to 345.885 million mt, down 11.1 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities.

In September alone, China’s coal imports reached 46.003 million mt, up 7.6 percent month on month, while down 3.3 percent year on year.
