China’s coal exports down 51.6 percent in January-July

In July this year, China exported 425,000 mt of coal, down 11.46 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities. In the same month, China imported 29 million mt of coal, increasing by 49.05 percent year on year.

In the January-July of the current year, China exported 2.78 million mt of coal, down 51.6 percent year on year, while its coal imports totaled 175.19 million mt, up 15.0 percent year on year.
