In the January-August period this year, China's coal exports (all types) totaled 4.17 million mt, down 10.1 percent year on year, according to the latest data released by China's General Administration of Customs (GACC).
In August alone, China's coal exports amounted to 640,000 mt, down 17.0 percent month on month, while up 21.5 percent year on year.
