In the January-August period this year, China's coal imports (all types) totaled 310.188 million mt, up 3.4 percent year on year, according to the latest data released by China's General Administration of Customs (GACC).
In August alone, China's coal imports amounted to 42.092 million mt, down 1.49 percent month on month, while down 1.51 percent year on year.
