China Shenhua Energy’s coal sales up 3.3 percent in January-May 2026

Major Chinese coal mining company China Shenhua Energy Co., Ltd has announced that its coal sales amounted to 50.5 million mt in May this year, up 11.7 percent year on year. In the given period, China Shenhua Energy produced 41.7 million mt of coal, down 4.1 percent year on year.

In the January-May period this year, China Shenhua Energy’s coal sales amounted to 250 million mt, up 3.3 percent year on year, while its coal production totaled 207.2 million mt, down 4.0 percent year on year.
