Chengdu Steel & Vanadium produces low-sulfur steel pipe

Sichuan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Pangang Group has announced that its Sichuan-based subsidiary Chengdu Steel & Vanadium Co. has successfully produced almost 3,000 mt of low sulfur X52 PSL2 grade steel pipe, indicating that the steelmaker has started mass production of low-sulfur steel and has expanded its product range.

The pipe in question is an acid-resistant line pipe which has strict requirements as regards sulfur content.
