The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has revised the schedule of an antidumping (AD) re-investigation of certain carbon steel pipe fittings from China pursuant to the Special Import Measures Act (SIMA).

As SteelOrbis previously reported, the re-investigation is part of the CBSA's enforcement of the finding made by the Canadian International Trade Tribunal on July 16, 2003, as amended on June 8, 2007. This finding was subsequently reviewed and continued on July 15, 2008.

The subject goods are normally imported into Canada under one of the following ten-digit Harmonized System Classification numbers: 7307.99.99.11 and 7307.99.99.19.

The re-investigation will now be concluded on September 10, 2010, instead of October 10, 2010.
