Canadian building permits fall slightly in November

Statistics Canada reported Monday that building permits fell 3.6 percent to $6.1 billion in November after an 11.6 percent increase in October. 

Non-residential permits were down 17.6 percent after a 32.8 percent increase in October, while residential permits rose 6.9 percent increase due to higher construction intentions.
