Canada starts AD and CVD investigation on LD line pipe imports

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has announced that it has initiated an antidumping (AD) duty investigation on certain welded large diameter (LD) carbon and alloy steel line pipe imports from China and Japan and a countervailing duty (CVD) investigation on imports of the mentioned products from China. 
 
The investigations were launched upon the complaint filed by EVRAZ Inc. NA Canada and its affiliate Canadian National Steel Corporation.
 
The products in question currently fall under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7305.11.00.21, 7305.11.00.29, 7305.12.00.20, 7305.19.00.21 and 7305.19.00.29.
