Canada announces preliminary AD duties for certain OCTG imports

On Wednesday, December 3, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced the preliminary decisions regarding its antidumping (AD) duty investigation on OCTG pipe imports from Taiwan, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, and Vietnam.
 
Accordingly, the provisional antidumping duty rates range between 2.6 percent and 53.2 percent for Taiwan, between 2.2 percent and 94 percent for India, 2.2 percent and 70.5 percent for Indonesia, zero and 53.2 percent for South Korea, 2.3 percent and 58.9 percent for the Philippines, 19.4 percent and 66.2 percent for Thailand, zero percent and 53.2 percent for Turkey, between 18.6 percent and 63.1 percent for Ukraine and stand at 72.2 percent for Vietnam.
 
Meanwhile, the CBSA also announced that it has terminated its countervailing duty investigation regarding OCTG pipe imports from Turkey and South Korea.
