Calstrip to establish steel processing plant in Nucor’s Arkansas campus

Calstrip Industries has announced plans to build a $15 million steel processing plant in Arkansas, located on the Nucor campus near Blytheville. According to a press release by the Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC), the initial construction phase will encompass 100,000 square feet out of a planned 300,000 square feet, and commence later in 2018. The remaining expansions are yet to be planned.

Calstrip is involved in the industries of appliance, electrical lighting, construction, HVAC and automotive. Calstrip presently has plants in California, New Mexico, and Texas.
