Brazil's motor vehicle output in March this year increased by 41.6 percent from the previous month to 308,500 units, according to the Brazilian Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Association (Anfavea). According to the report, total new motor vehicle registrations in
Brazil amounted to 300,574 units in March this year, increasing 20.5 percent from February this year and down 1.8 percent year on year. 23.6 percent of this figure consisted of imported new vehicles.
Meanwhile,
Brazil's motor vehicle exports in March this year totaled 42,225 units, increasing 15.8 percent compared to the previous month and down one percent year on year. The revenue generated by these exports came to $1.38 billion, increasing by 17.7 percent month on month and up 17.3 percent compared to the same month of 2011.
