The Brazilian industry and foreign trade ministry's commerce chamber, Camex, has announced that it has reduced to zero the antidumping (AD) duty applied on non-grain-oriented electrical steel imports from China, Taiwan and South Korea.

In November 2013, Whirlpool SA requested the suspension of the antidumping duty imposed by Camex in July 2013, citing serious damage to technological innovation and trade balance.

The product in question currently falls under the Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7225.19.00 and 7226.19.00.
