Blastr Green Steel to cooperate with Inkoo Shipping on land and harbor development in Finland

Norwegian decarbonized steel developer Blastr Green Steel has announced it will cooperate with Finland-based port operating company Inkoo Shipping on land and harbor development in Inkoo, Finland.

Blastr will utilize Inkoo Shipping’s land area to further optimize the layout design of the planned ultra-low carbon steel plant in Inkoo. The companies will also jointly develop Inkoo Shipping’s harbor to enhance the handling of Blastr’s in- and outbound sea cargo.

The company’s ultra-low carbon steel plant will have an annual production capacity of 2.5 million mt.
