Bengang Steel Plates returns to profit in 2016

Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Bengang Steel Plates Co. (Bengang Steel Plates), a listed subsidiary of Benxi Iron and Steel (Group) Co. (Bengang Group), has announced in its annual report that in 2016 it registered an operating revenue of RMB 29.526 billion ($4.29 billion), up 0.93 percent year on year, with a net profit of RMB 781 million ($113.52 million), compared to the net loss of RMB 3.294 billion it recorded in 2015.
