Beltrame raises sales in 2002

Italian Beltrame reported its sales as Euro 817 million for 2002 with a 40% increase when compared to 2001. According to company statement, the results jumped due to the acquisition of Siderurgica Ferrero and also the reorganization of Beltrame. Beltrame's merchant bars of sales volume raised by 25% to 2.4 million tons while Beltrame initiated production at its new rolling mill for light sections at its French subsidiary Lamines Marchands Europeens.
