Bellzone close to commissioning Forécariah iron ore project in Guinea

New Jersey-based US mining company Bellzone Mining has announced that work on the Forécariah iron ore project located in Guinea is progressing on schedule and that the project will be commissioned by March this year. The mine will be the first commercial mine in the West African country.

The Forécariah iron ore project is being developed by a joint venture of Bellzone and China International Fund (CIF). As revealed by Bellzone, the project has already received approval from the Department of Mines and Geology (DMG) of Guinea, and is expected to receive mining and export permits soon. At present, all exploration, processing and transportation equipment is ready to be commissioned.
