Baotou Steel issues positive output results for September

Inner Mongolia-based Chinese steel producer Baotou Steel Corporation has announced its production results for September of the current year.

Accordingly, in September Baotou Steel produced 485,100 mt of crude steel, 26,100 mt higher than the targeted volume, mainly due to the capacity expansion program of the company.

In its mining segment, Baotou Steel's total iron concentrate output in September reached 540,025 mt, 20,625 mt above the company's target, marking a decrease of nearly 30,000 mt compared with August.
