Baogang achieves record monthly crude steel output in May

Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region-based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Iron and Steel (Baogang Group) has announced that in May this year it produced 838,800 mt of pig iron and 894,330 mt of crude steel, up by 2.93 percent and 2.68 percent year on year, respectively.

Baogang's crude steel output in May constituted a record monthly crude steel output for the company.
