Australia's Antidumping Commission has announced that it has completed its antidumping duty investigation regarding hot rolled structural steel section imports from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand.
The commission found that the hot rolled structural steel sections imports from the abovementioned countries were sold with dumping margins ranging from 2.2 percent to 19.48 percent, causing material injury to the domestic industry.
The antidumping duty rates are in ranges of 2.52-3.24 percent for South Korea, 2.20-7.89 percent for Taiwan, 12.15-12.23 percent for Japan and 18.28-19.48 percent for Thailand.
The products subject to antidumping duty currently fall under the Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7216.31.00, 7216.32.00, 7216.33.00 and 7216.40.00.
