Argentina’s crude steel production increased 3.3 percent in July, the country’s steel chamber CAA said this week.

Output of crude steel in the South American country reached 476,656 mt, said CAA, adding the amount is similar to that of June, which was 477,400 mt. The production in the first seven months of the year was 3.1 million mt, an 10.8 percent increase, year-on-year.

Crude steel production diminished last year as a result of programmed stoppages for maintenance.
