ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih to construct new sinter plant

ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih, Ukraine-based subsidiary of the world's largest steel producer ArcelorMittal, has announced its plans to construct a new sinter producing plant with an annual production capacity of about 10 million metric tons.

The new equipment for the plant will be supplied by Siemens.


Meanwhile, the company has opened a tender to determine the main contractor for the plant. The closing date for the submission of offers is March 10, 2008.
