Anyang Steel raises its ex-factory prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai On January 18, Henan Province-based Anyang Steel announced its latest ex-factory prices. The details are as follows: 1. Medium plate prices have been increased by RMB 82/mt ($11/mt) for Henan province, and by RMB 82-117/mt ($11-15/mt) for other regions. After the adjustment, the new price in Henan Province of 14-25 mm thick Q235A/B is RMB 3,755.5/mt ($483/mt). 2. Rebar and common carbon round bar prices have risen 35/mt ($4.5/mt), and so the new price of 20 mm diameter HRB335 is now RMB 3,041.5/mt ($391/mt). The above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of January 18, 2007.
