On August 19, Henan Province-based Anyang Steel announced its new ex-factory prices. The details are as follows;
Rebar:
The price of rebar has gone down RMB 140.4/mt ($20/mt), and so the price of HRB 335 18-25 mm rebar is now at RMB 5,114/mt ($746/mt).
Round bar:
The producer's price of round bar has decreased by RMB 140.4/mt ($20/mt). As a result, the price of Q235 18-25 mm material has dropped to RMB 5,172/mt ($755/mt).
Section:
The price of section steel is down by RMB 117/mt ($17/mt). After the adjustment, the new price of 50 mm x 5 mm Q235A/B angles is RMB 5,218/mt ($761/mt), while 6.3-10# Q235A/B channels cost RMB 5,171/mt ($755/mt).
Medium plate:
The producer's price of medium plate has decreased by RMB 351-468/mt ($51-68/mt). Thus, the price of Q235 14-20 mm material is now at RMB 6,435-6,579/mt ($939-960/mt).
The above prices include taxes (17 percent VAT) and are effective as of August 19.
