Actau commences exportation

Mittal Steel Temirtau's Kazakhstan-based Actau Tube Plant (Actau), whose construction was completed in July 2006, has exported its first cargos of pipes. So far, Actau has exported 3,000 metric tons of materials to India, 500 metric tons to Iran, and dispatched approximately 1.5 million metric tons of pipes to the Kazakh domestic market. Currently, the plant is working at its designed full capacity.
