US line pipe spot market prices holding steady

SteelOrbis have learned that spot market prices for US domestic API X-52 line pipe are still holding in the range of $49.50-$52.00 cwt. ($1,091-$1,146/mt or $990-$1,040/nt), ex-mill. As with last week, year-end deals at the service center level are rampant.

Import API X-52 from Mexico is also neutral, week-over-week, and is being heard at approxixmately $46.50-$50.00 cwt. ($1,025-$1,102/mt or $930-$1,000/nt), FOB Texas.
