SteelOrbis sources have confirmed that the average spot market price for US domestic hollow structural sections (HSS) tubing continues to hold at approximately $67.50 cwt. ($1,488/mt or $1,350/nt), FOB mill, reflecting no change since our last report a week ago.
As in previous weeks, sources have said that one mill is offering deals at $66.00 cwt. ($1,455/mt or $1,320/nt), FOB mill for customers looking to book significant tonnage.
