Sources close to SteelOrbis have indicated that while spot market prices for US domestic HSS tubing are stable week-over-week, that a price increase announcement is believed to be imminent.

US HRC prices have jumped by roughly $5 cwt. ($111/mt or $100/nt) in the seven days, sources added, which has many believing that higher HSS prices are just around the corner.

For now, however, HSS tubing prices are stable week-over-week at $76.50 cwt. ($1,687/mt or $1,530/nt), FOB mill.
