US domestic standard pipe prices still climbing with no end in sight

SteelOrbis sources have confirmed that spot market prices for A53 Grade A standard pipe have surged by $10 cwt. ($220/mt or $200/nt), since our last report 2 weeks ago. As such, current prices are trending at approximately $118 cwt. ($2,601/mt or $2,360/nt), FOB mill.  Additional price hikes are expected within the next few days.
