SteelOrbis has learned that the most commonly heard spot market price for US domestic finished J55 ERW OCTG casing is being heard approximately $100 cwt. ($2,205/mt or $2,000/nt), FOB mill. Sources have, however, said current prices are "all over the map" depending on the seller and the order volume.
US import finished J55 ERW casing from Korea is being heard at approximately $5.00 cwt. ($110/mt or $100/nt) below the domestic price, DDP loaded truck in US Gulf coast ports.
