Sources tell SteelOrbis that the average spot market price for US domestic hollow structural sections (HSS) tubing has softened by $3.00 cwt. ($66/mt or $60/nt) since our last report 2 weeks ago. Current prices are now being heard at roughly $59.50 cwt. ($1,312/mt or $1,190/nt). FOB mill.  The softness in HSS pricing is directly attributed to down trending prices in the flat rolled steel market.
