Chinese seamless pipe prices have increased during the past week. Overall trading activity has been weak. Upstream billet prices have fluctuated, putting certain pressure on seamless pipe prices. As for the week ahead, it is believed that seamless pipe prices may fluctuate in a limited range.
Chinese welded pipe prices have moved up during past week. Overall trading activity has been normal. Upstream steel strip and other raw material prices have declined after a recent sharp increase which can hardly support welded pipe prices to keep increasing. As for the week ahead, it is believed that welded pipe prices may see slight declines.
