Local Chinese seamless pipe prices have continued their declining trend during the past week amid a lack of sufficient support from prices of billet and of other raw materials. Overall trading activity has been weak with the weather getting colder. As for the week ahead, it is believed that seamless pipe prices may continue their soft trend due to the ongoing offseason.
Local Chinese welded pipe prices have also continued to move down during the past week amid decreases in steel strip prices. Overall trading activity is sluggish. As for the week ahead, it is believed that domestic welded pipe prices may move down further.
