According to market sources, demand for Chinese welded pipes in the export markets is still weak, just like in the previous week. However, Chinese offers to the export markets for 0.5"-12" grade B water and gas welded pipes as per ASTM A53 or API 5L have remained stable over the past week at $370-380/mt FOB on theoretical weight basis, since the prices of hot rolled coil - the raw material for welded pipe production - have remained stable during the past week.
