SteelOrbis has been informed that demand for Chinese seamless pipe in the export markets is still slack. Despite the weak demand, Chinese producers have been unwilling to decrease their prices and their offers for 2"-12" grade B seamless pipes as per ASTM A53 or API 5L have remained stable over the past two weeks at $390-430/mt FOB on theoretical weight basis.
