Atlas Tube raises HSS prices again

In a letter to customers Monday, Atlas Tube said it will raise prices on all mechanical, HSS and piling products by $2.50 cwt. ($55/mt or $50/nt), effective immediately with all new orders.

US domestic HSS mills raised prices by the same amount in late August, and prior to this latest increase, spot prices for US domestic HSS were at approximately $39.00 cwt. ($860/mt or $780/nt), FOB mill, and with freight costs, prices in the Southeast were closer to $41.00 cwt. ($904/mt or $820/nt) delivered to the customer.
